Foals without previous vaccination born from unvaccinated mares: It can be inoculated from 4 months of age. Inject 1 dose, then revaccinate at weeks and give a 3rd dose 3 to 4 weeks after the last vaccination. Revaccinate semiannually in case of high incidence of the disease, indications of the veterinarian or by health plan of the country. Then vaccinate annually. Foals born from vaccinated mares: Can be inoculated from 4 — 6 months of age.
Pregnant mares with previous vaccination plan: inoculate 1 dose 4 — 6 weeks prior to the probable date of delivery. Pregnant mares without previous vaccination plan or unknown history: start 2 — 2.
